Facebook lover from a multi-storey building over a disagreement over sex was
arraigned in Lagos on Friday.

Apapa where they had drinks. The prosecutor said the pair later moved to
Obiora’s house at Block 10, Flat 317, 1004 Housing Estate, Victoria Island,
Lagos.
Orji said Obiora, who claimed to be an unemployed
graduate of Igbinedion University Okada and the Centennial College, Ontario,
Canada, shut all the doors in the apartment and demanded to have sex with
Akabuogu.
“This was after he had smoked some wraps of Indian
hemp. He tried to rape her and threatened to kill her with a bottle of beer.

“Funke Akindele didn't lose any pregnancy, she's not pregnant yet” - Close friend says
According to a close friend of her, she said “Every
time I read online that she's pregnant, I ask her people and they deny it. And
so when I read this week that she lost her pregnancy, I contacted her people
once more and they laughed it off.” She opened up - Funke was never pregnant! Just
a lot of food sometimes.
“Funke is not pregnant yet. She has chosen to be
silent on the true state of her condition because in Yoruba culture, it is more
of a taboo for a married woman to publicly denounce or confirm if she’s
pregnant or not. This is a private affair and that’s why she was so amused and
even surprised about the story claiming that she lost her pregnancy.”
Funke's close friend told a PM News reporter that
when the initial story with a picture of a supposed baby bump hit the internet
claiming Funke was in her first trimester, she silently claimed it. She's
definitely looking forward to being a mother.

exactly what I mean,” Soyinka told foreign media at an international conference

I don’t know any Boko Haram member - Buhari
Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has said he does
not know any member of Boko Haram sect. He said this in an interview with
journalists at his party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday during the
party’s Board of Trustees meeting.
“I do not know any member of the Boko Haram sect. I
do not believe and I do not know of any religion that will go and kill people,
burn schools. There was a stage where I mentioned that I agreed with one
intellectual where he said there are three Boko Haram, one of Muhammed Yusuf,
whom we know. A leader of the military then in Maiduguri did what we know in
the military about internal security. They looked for Yusuf, they handed him
over to the police; healthy young man and he died under a very dubious account
in the police custody.
"The second Boko Haram was a criminal attacking
banks and market places stealing money. They issued a statement that they are
Boko Haram, and I said and I have no regret saying it, that the biggest Boko
Haram is the Federal Government itself, because it has all the powers to stop
anarchy in the country. Continue to read after the cut:

US election tears PDP, ACN, others apart
The quick resolution of Tuesday’s presidential
election in the United States, last night, sparked off quarel among the three
leading parties in Nigeria, with the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP and
opposition parties accusing one another of bad manners.
Reacting to the quick acceptance of defeat by
Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, the PDP in a statement

being the major obstacle to democracy in the country. The ACN said the joke was
on the PDP and charged the party to ask why its candidate in the recent Ondo

a level playing ground in the country.

across the country with President Goodluck Jonathan, the Senate and the House
of Representatives sending their respective congratulations to the victorious

Thank you so much.
Tonight, more than 200 years after a former colony
won the right to determine its own destiny, the task of perfecting our union
moves forward. It moves forward because of you. It moves forward because you
reaffirmed the spirit that has triumphed over war and depression, the spirit
that has lifted this country from the depths of despair to the great heights of
hope, the belief that while each of us will pursue our own individual dreams,
we are an American family and we rise or fall together as one nation and as one
people.
Tonight, in this election, you, the American people,
reminded us that while our road has been hard, while our journey has been long,
we have picked ourselves up, we have fought our way back, and we know in our
hearts that for the United States of America the best is yet to come. Continue reading after the cut:
