The kind of terrible things happening in Nigeria
nowadays is really distressing. The police that are supposed to protect the
people are doing dreadful things than Boko haram. I wonder where they recruit
all these voracious mugs. The big question now is why are policemen shooting
indiscriminately while enforcing Lagos traffic laws? Last week they beat and
stripped a motorcyclist at Unilag Junction, two days ago they killed another motorcyclist
at Ilupeju Byepass, yesterday another shooting, another death recorded.
A bus conductor was purportedly shot dead yesterday
at Tipper Garage in Ketu. Lagos State Government, what is going on? Is there
like an order to shoot and kill individuals who break the new traffic laws? Why
do these policemen feel it’s acceptable to just take a life over a misapprehension?
Why are we not hearing about arrests and prosecutions of these police officers?
I wonder the kind of Government we have. It’s terrible!
