You can't Islamise Nigeria: Former President Obasanjo to Boko Haram

FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Friday, told members of the Boko Haram and their sponsors that they were living in a fool’s paradise if they believed that they could win
their current war against the Nigerian state. Obasanjo, who was responding to questions on News Day on the British Broadcasting Corporation [BBC] news programme monitored in Ibadan, particularly declared that they were naive to think that they could turn the into country to an Islamic state.

Describing such mission as an unattainable objective, he said they would soon realise that they were engaging in a futile exercise, in spite of claims that Boko Haram had vowed to fight to the finish.“People, who know the history of Nigeria, will know that you cannot impose any religion on Nigeria as a whole. The people Boko Haram cannot impose Sharia in the North, where most of our people are Muslims, let alone in the entire country. “By now, they should know that. So, I see a bit of naivety in that objective that they have given to themselves. It is an unattainable objective and we need to win their heart and mind,” Obasanjo stated.

WATCH THE ANTI-ISLAM MOVIE THAT STOKED VIOLENCE IN MIDEAST

Though I’m a Christian, I strongly condemn this movie produced in Hollywood, portraying at best, an insulting message to believers of Islam throughout the world. Lives have been lost, properties have been destroyed and anger has been exercised. However, a lot of questions will most likely remain forever unanswered. One of such is the very motive of the movie, and the intent of its producers. On the other hand however, a greater insubstantiality exists in the handling of religious differences which represents the majority of the world’s population, divided between Christians and Muslims. The unity and peaceful co-existence of these two large diverse world groups embraces a key sway in the political and socio-economic constancy of the world.
While the post distressing effects of September 11th and other religious conflicts around the world abounds, I wonder the wild stipulation for inflaming a religious war that is capable of bringing the world to a deadly ending. The producers also should acknowledge the activism of their exercise of rights through the produced incendiary and dreadful movie and make up for its attendant damages.

President Barack Obama's Secret Son Appears

The first family has turned more than a few heads at this week’s Democratic National Convention, where the president, as he greets delegates and waves to crowds of supporters, is often accompanied not only by his wife and two daughters, but also his rarely seen 19-year-old son, Luther.
The shy, slightly overweight teenager, who has lived his entire life with his mother in central Illinois, seldom appears in public with the president, with whom he has reportedly shared a somewhat distant and occasionally strained relationship.
“When I saw that kid with President Obama, I had no clue who he was,” said Georgia delegate Kathy Tyson, stating that the teen appeared to have difficulty sustaining eye contact with others and stood uncomfortably alongside his father when he shook hands with voters Thursday. “I guess he does kind of look like the president, though a bit shorter and stockier.”

THIS IS FOR THE LADIES: ALL YOU NEED TO WASH YOUR VAGINA IS CLEAN HAND AND WATER

According to a reader

“Hello, I am a gynaecologist and I need you to pass a message to your female readers. Warning Ladies- Do not use soap to wash your vagina. Don't use anything at all. It's self-cleaning. The discharge you get throughout the day. That's how the vagina cleans itself. Using soap will only put you at higher risk of developing irritation or infection. Using warn water and clean hand is enough. Discharge cleans out dirt and dead cells. The vagina is also acidic so kills off harmful bacteria while allowing healthy bacteria to thrive. You don't need to clean your vagina; just your vulva but you do this with water only. Soaps washes, wipes are potentially harmfully and may kill off healthy bacteria! Bear in mind that your vagina/vulva is made up of mucosa - like skin but without the top protective layer. Mucosa is sensitive so more prone to irritation from chemicals in soaps &washes. All you need to wash your vagina is clean hands and soap.”

U.S. Vows to Hunt Down Perpetrators of Benghazi Attack

President Barack Obama

Washington (CNN) -- The United States on Wednesday vowed to avenge the killings of its ambassador to Libya and three other Americans, moving warships toward the Libyan coast and preparing to track the suspected perpetrators with surveillance drones, officials said.
The slain ambassador, Chris Stevens, helped save Libya's eastern city of Benghazi during last year's revolution. He died there Tuesday night, along with another diplomat and two State Department security officers, when a mob stormed the U.S. Consulate and set it ablaze.
The Benghazi consulate was one of several American diplomatic missions that faced protests after the online release of a film that ridiculed Muslims and depicted the Prophet Mohammed as a child molester, womanizer and ruthless killer.
But U.S. sources said Wednesday the four-hour assault in Benghazi had been planned, with the attackers using the protest as a diversion.
"We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act," President Barack Obama said. "And make no mistake, justice will be done."
