Ghanaian man arrested in Offinso with human skull

The police from the Buffalo Unit in Kumasi have arrested a man in possession of a human skull in Offinso in the Ashanti Region.

Many people rushed to the Kumasi Central Police Station in the afternoon of yesterday to catch a glimpse of the man when they heard about his arrest.

The suspect, Agyemang Duah, was undergoing questioning by the police in Kumasi at the time of going to press.

However, the Daily Graphic gathered from a reliable source that the man had claimed that he was sending the skull to a Mallam in Kumasi, but the name of the said Mallam is yet to be known.

The suspect, believed to be in his early 20s, surprisingly insisted he was 16. Continue after the cut... 

The human skull, which was in a sack, is now in the custody of the police pending further investigations.

According to the source, Agyemang Duah, a native of Tetrem, near Offinso, was arrested following a tip off while he was preparing to travel to Kumasi.
