Nasarawa State University students, Keffi, yesterday
morning clashed with soldiers after they protested over not having water for
many days on campus. Soldiers were called into the school to restore peace but
things went bad as they clashed with the students.
The soldiers allegedly went to the off campus
hostels to harass and beat up students. The school has been closed down until
further notice as a result of this. The Governor of Nasarawa state, Tanko
Almakura, have since advised all students of the school to leave the school
premises with immediate effect till further notice. Click to see more pictures
