According to an eye witness, the motorcyclist was
stripped naked by some policemen after beating him black and blue for the
reason that he violated the new Lagos state traffic law. He was arrested at the
junction connecting University road and St Finbarrs College road Akoka by
policemen in mufti, and before anyone could say anything, the policemen sloped
on him, beating him ruthlessly. They stopped the callous act after people
around gathered and begged them to stop.
