Joseph Benjamin won the coveted prize at the 17th
African Film Awards (aka Afro-Hollywood Awards) held on Saturday November 3,
2012 at Stratford Town Hall, London. He was awarded the African Actor of the
Year in an impressive event that attracted British African stars, producers and
investors. He was nominated in
conjunction with Ghanaian actor Van Vicker and South African actor Jafta
Mamabolo. Mighty big congrats!
