First Female Akwa Ibom Deputy Governor Sworn In

Barrister Valerie Ebe was on Saturday sworn in as the first female deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State three days after the resignation of former Deputy Governor, Nsima Ekere who left due to his alleged act of disloyalty to the Governor. Barrister Valerie Ebe is the first woman in the state's 25 years history to occupy such a position.
