Some of our male celebrities shared their personal opinion on the topic of ‘domestic violence’. Read it
Ruggedman |
A few weeks back,
Ruggedman was on twitter sharing his point of view on how a woman can keep a
man. At the end of it all it was just the same old nonsense on how to keep the
woman beneath the man. He said that “if a woman cannot submit she should be
ready to be beaten.” I trust he must have thought his very virile and heroic to
say such crap. The fact that a celebrity rapper will come out and justify violence
in this manner is just pathetic; more pathetic are the people who give a
standing ovation for this. Your middle name is just sorry. Well, sorry for the unlucky
woman.
Frank Edoho - Who wants to be a millionaire |
He has been a popular face
on TV for a long time now; everyone would expect he would live an admirable
life away from public eye. He is indeed a good broadcaster and a perfect
gentleman on screen but to realize that it's all guiles is so tragic. How can
a man millions of people look up to stoop so low in such manner by
hitting his wife. It’s so heart breaking.
Zakki Adzay |
Zakki Adzay is another disgrace
to menfolk. A man who punches his pregnant wife, threatening her and even goes
on to give her drugs under duress to eliminate their unborn child! OMG! I wept
when his wife was telling her story. All I can is God have mercy on you.
It’s really a disgrace that in this era we have to
deal with men who think that the only way to be a man or be the head of the
family and stamp their authority is by hitting their wife.
Peter Okoye of P-Square |
Finally, I would like to say thank you to Peter of
P-square. For what it’s worth, he stood up against the act of violence.
More men should speak out!
