National coordinator of the Forum for Justice and
Human Rights Defence, FJHD, Oghenjabor Ikimi, weekend, lamented the cost of
governance in Nigeria was too high, saying,
he could not comprehend why a Senator earns as much as N15 million and
member of the House of Representatives – about N12 monthly.
Responding to the recent statement in Abuja by the
Federal Government through the Minister of Information and Orientation, Mr.
Labaran Maku to the effect that the
nation’s economy would collapse if the deregulation of the downstream sector

Will Smith Talks about Marriage with Jada Pinkett Smith
The actor credits his wife for pushing him to be a
better person. If there were ever rumors that Will Smith
and Jada Pinkett-Smith were on the path to divorce, the actor is squashing them
in his latest interview with Necole Bitchie. Smith talked about his marriage
with the actress and why a relationship isn’t automatically easier when you
earn more money.
“I think a lot of people think that when you have
money, that everything gets really easy. Hell Naw!” Smith said. “Jada and I
have been together for 17 years. If you look at it like a sports record, we are
probably like 15 and 2. When we got started, we both truly connected on wanting
to be better. That’s where it all started. There were other people that we were
dating and other people that we were attracted to, but there was a commitment
to constantly be better that was what we connected on. Our whole world and
relationship was that, ‘Hey, I know that I may not be all of that today but
what I’m not going to do is lay around and not keep working to be better to
deserve you.”

2Face and Annie's ‘Love Story’: How they met at age 15, how they suffered etcetera
Nice! After all the ups and downs, the breakups,
cheating and all; they still ended up together!
How
They Met
Annie first met 2face Idibia at Even Ezra Music
Studio when she was just fifteen and in her words, “I think there was some
electricity that second.”
They were friends first but had started dating
officially by the time they shot the “African Queen” video in 2004. That was
when 2Face announced that they were together during an interview.
I remember my 16th birthday at Alpha Beach, with me
and my friends. When we were going home, we all walked to the bus stop with him
and his cousin. Plantashun Boiz had just recorded “Knock Me Off” at the time so
he wasn’t a star yet.

Harambee Stars of Kenya were three minutes away from
causing a major upset in African football, but Nnamdi Oduamadi spared the Super
Eagles the embarrassment of losing the 2014 World Cup qualifying match at U.J
Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
Nigerian fans who had expected another goal feast
were put on the edge of their seats as the minutes ticked away even as the
Eagles missed the few chances they managed to create. But the entire nation had
Oduamadi to thank for not missing the last minute opportunity that fell on his
path. He zipped in a re-bound on the dot of 90 minutes to bring the game level.
There was no celebration as the Eagles players and their coaches seem drained
by the encounter.
