Former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani,
was re-arraigned before a Federal High Court Lagos earlier today in connection
with money laundering, News Agency of Nigeria reports.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,
had re-arraigned Nnamani, his former aide, Sunday Anyaogu, and seven companies
which included Rainbownet (Nig) Ltd, Hillgate (Nig) Ltd, Cosmos FM, Capital
City Automobile (Nig) Ltd, Renaissance University Teaching Hospital and Mea
Mater Elizabeth High School.
According to reports; they all pleaded not guilty to
the amended 105-count charge.
NAN which brings to mind that they were first
arraigned in 2007 said the newest charged came after Justice Charles Archibong
was transferred from the Lagos Division and a new the case handed to a new
judge, Justice Mohammed Yunusa who is allegedly the third judge to handle the
matter after Archibong.
Following a plea for bail by counsel, Riky Tarfa
